This metallic yarn is wrapped around cotton thread, but when looking at it, it looks all metallic. It's considered ultrafine, lace or baby weight (VERY thin) and wonderful to knit along with other yarns to give that touch of shine. The cones range from 1 lb to 1 lb 5ozs.
